Classes and Types of Loans and Borrowings. The term "Borrowing" denotes the aggregation of Loans of one or more Lenders to be made to a single Borrower pursuant to Article 2 on the same date, all of which Loans are of the same Class and Type (subject to Article 8) and, except in the case of Base Rate Loans, have the same initial Interest Period. Loans hereunder are distinguished by "Class" and by "Type". The "Class" of a Loan (or of a Commitment to make such a Loan or of a Borrowing comprised of such Loans or of a Group of such Loans) refers to the determination whether such Loan is a Tranche A Loan, Tranche B Loan, a Revolving Loan or a Swing Loan, each of which constitutes a Class. The "Type" of a Loan refers to the determination whether such Loan is a Euro-Dollar Loan or a Base Rate Loan. Identification of a Loan (or a Borrowing) by both Class and Type (e.g., a "Tranche B Euro-Dollar Loan") indicates that such Loan is both a Tranche B Loan and a Euro-Dollar Loan (or that such Borrowing or Group of Loans is comprised of such Loans).
