Common use of Classification and Need For License Clause in Contracts

Classification and Need For License. Before effecting an export on behalf of NASA, the Seller and any Seller subcontractor/supplier shall determine the classification recommendation of the item(s) or document(s) and whether it needs an export license. If required, the Seller shall provide additional technical rationale supporting the classification, as requested by Xxxxx. If an export license is not in place the Seller will be required to work with Buyer to have NASA obtain the license.
