CLASSIFICATIONS BACKGROUND. The purpose of the Engineering Team Members Development Program review (TDP) is to align the Engineering function with the Murarrie Plant operational requirements. It aims to generate a learning atmosphere which when fully developed would allow new skills, technologies and work practices to pass from one area to another throughout the plant and to promote the personal development of tradespeople. The five (5) defined levels are similar for Mechanical and Electrical staff; however, some requirements and demonstrated competences are unique to each discipline. Assessing the competencies would be the responsibility of the Engineering Management in conjunction with input from other relevant team members and others. As the needs of the business change whether being driven by technology changes or business decisions then the responsibilities and assessment tasks may also change within each level. At all times any proposed changes will be discussed in accordance with the consultation obligations set out in clause 6.3 of this Enterprise Agreement.
