CLAUSE 16 – TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT. 2.16.1 Except for a Trainee Firefighter, fourteen days’ notice of termination of employment shall be given on either side, but this shall not prevent the summary dismissal or suspension of a worker for misconduct or conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline. The Chief Executive/National Commander may elect to pay wages in lieu of the prescribed notice.
