Common use of Clean Soil Clause in Contracts

Clean Soil. For purposes of this agreement, clean soil is defined as soil not containing total lead over 80 mg/kg based on a 95 percent UCL or soluble lead over 5 mg/l based on a 95 percent UCL as determined by the CA-WET and not containing other constituents at levels that would pose an unacceptable risk to human health or the environment or be unacceptable to the Regional Water Quality Control Board with jurisdiction.
