Common use of Closure of Account Clause in Contracts

Closure of Account. i. Should the existing tenderer’s contract not be renewed at the end of the contract period, the tenderer will be required to continue providing services prior to the take-over of the new tenderer, at the same terms and conditions, for a maximum period of six (6) months from the end of the contract, primarily to accommodate the continued receipting of deposits paid into the City’s old bank accounts until residents have made the conversion to the new accounts.
