Common use of Code Clause in Contracts

Code. For purposes of this Agreement, “Code” means the U.S. Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (as it has been and may be amended from time to time) and any regulations and guidance that has been promulgated or may be promulgated from time to time thereunder and any state law of similar effect.

Code. For purposes of this the Agreement, “Code” means will mean the U.S. Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (1986, as it has been and may be amended from time to time) , or any successor thereto. Reference to a specific section of the Code or regulation thereunder will include such section or regulation, any valid regulation or other formal guidance of general or direct applicability promulgated thereunder, and any regulations and guidance that has been promulgated comparable provision of any future legislation or may be promulgated from time to time thereunder and any state law of similar effectregulation amending, supplementing or superseding such section or regulation.
