Collaboration Day Sample Clauses
The 'Collaboration Day' clause establishes a specific date on which both parties to an agreement are required to meet, communicate, or otherwise work together to coordinate their efforts regarding the contract. Typically, this clause outlines the logistics of the meeting, such as the format (in-person, virtual, etc.), the agenda, and the responsibilities of each party in preparing for the day. By setting a formal collaboration date, the clause ensures that all stakeholders are aligned, facilitates the exchange of necessary information, and helps prevent misunderstandings or delays in the execution of the contract.
Collaboration Day. A day or part of a day set aside for staff members to address curriculum and instruction as directed by administration. Plan time may be included with teacher input.

Collaboration Day. 10 In addition to the work year in Section 11.1 above, staff shall work one additional day 11 of teacher/ESA-directed collaborative time as scheduled on the work year calendar in 12 October. This collaborative work time by all teacher/specialist teams is in service of 13 building priorities.
Collaboration Day. One (1) paid day will be used as follows:
36 a. Elementary: District facilitated grade level meetings in the morning, followed by 37 building grade level PLC collaboration in the afternoon. PLC teams will schedule 38 collaboration calendars for the remainder of the year.
39 b. Secondary: Department chair facilitated vertical alignment by content area, followed 40 by building level content area in the afternoon. PLC teams will schedule 41 collaboration calendars for the remainder of the year.
1 c. Specialists: District facilitated meetings in the morning, followed by specialist group 2 meetings in the afternoon. These PLC teams will schedule collaboration calendars 3 for the remainder of the year.
4 d. This day is required and will be submitted as specified on the District issued 5 professional development timesheet.
6 e. This day may be waived as a result of reduced state funding provided for the 7 purpose of professional development. The Parties will mutually agree to options 8 prior to any partial or complete waiving of this provision.
