Collected Revenue Clause Samples

The Collected Revenue clause defines what constitutes revenue that has actually been received by a party, typically in the context of calculating payments, commissions, or profit shares. It usually specifies that only funds that have been successfully received and cleared, rather than merely invoiced or promised, are counted as collected revenue. For example, it may exclude amounts subject to refunds, chargebacks, or uncollected debts. This clause ensures that financial calculations are based on real, available funds, thereby reducing disputes and clarifying the basis for financial obligations.
Collected Revenue. For purposes of this Agreement, the term “Collected Revenue” shall be defined as the total of all revenue and other payments generated and otherwise received by AREB and the Subsidiaries from sales, less returns and discounts.
