Common use of Commencement and Continuation Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Continuation. 2.1. The Contract shall commence on 1 November 2017 and terminate on the Expiry Date. 2.2. The ESFA may, by giving written notice to the Contractor extend the Contract on up to two occasions (up to a maximum of one year on each occasion), up to 31 July 2020 (subject to the Contractor’s performance, continuing availability of funding). 2.3. If the Contract Period is extended in accordance with Clause 2.2, the definition of Expiry Date shall be updated accordingly.
