Common use of Commencement and Term Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Term. 1.1 The Agreement will commence on the Start Date and subject to Section 1.2, will continue, unless terminated earlier in accordance with its terms, for the Initial Term and thereafter until either Party gives at least three (3) months’ written notice to the other Party, such notice to expire on or after the end of the Initial Term. 1.2 The Agreement will expire automatically on the date falling five (5) years after the Start Date.
