Common use of Commencement and Termination by Expiry Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Termination by Expiry. This Agreement, and the licenses granted hereunder, shall come into effect on the Commencement Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 8 shall continue in force until the expiration, lapse or invalidation of the last remaining patents issued under the Patents or if such Patents are patent applications under such patents, until they are refused or rejected without a right of appeal.

Commencement and Termination by Expiry. This Agreement, and the licenses licences granted hereunder, shall come into effect on the Commencement Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 8 clause 8, shall continue in force on a country by country basis until the expiration, lapse or invalidation date on which the last-to-expire of the last remaining patents issued under the Patents has expired or if such Patents are patent applications under such patents, until they are refused or rejected has been revoked without a right of further appeal.

This Agreement, and the licenses licences granted hereunder, shall come into effect on the Commencement Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 8 clause 6, shall continue in force on a country by country basis until the expiration, lapse or invalidation of the last remaining patents issued under date on which all the Patents have expired or if such Patents are patent applications under such patents, until they are refused or rejected been revoked without a right of further appeal, and on such date this Agreement and the licences granted hereunder shall terminate automatically by expiry.
