Common use of Commencement and Termination by Expiry Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Termination by Expiry. This Agreement, and the licence granted under Clause 2.1 shall come into effect on the Effective Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 8, shall continue in force and remains in effect until the later of expiration or abandonment of all Valid Claims.

Commencement and Termination by Expiry. This Agreement, and the licence licences granted under Clause 2.1 hereunder, shall come into effect on the Effective Commencement Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 8clause 7, shall continue in force and remains for a period of 1 year, unless extended by the Owner in effect until its sole discretion upon written request by the later of expiration or abandonment of all Valid ClaimsLicensee.

This Agreement, and the licence licences granted under Clause 2.1 hereunder, shall come into effect on the Effective Commencement Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 8, and shall continue in force for a period of five (5) years, unless: (a) extended in accordance with Clause 9.2; or (b) terminated early in accordance with Clause 9.3 (together, the “Term”). Upon expiry of the Term, this Agreement and remains in effect until the later of expiration or abandonment of all Valid Claimslicences granted hereunder shall terminate automatically by expiry.
