Common use of Commencement and Termination by Expiry Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Termination by Expiry. This Agreement, and the licences granted hereunder, shall come into effect on the Commencement Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 9, shall continue in force until the later of: the date on which all the IP have expired or been revoked without a right of further appeal; or the tenth (10th) anniversary of the first commercial sale of a Licensed Product in the Territory, and on such date this Agreement, and the licences granted hereunder, shall terminate automatically by expiry.

This Agreement, and the licences granted hereunder, shall come into effect on the Commencement Date and, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Clause 98, shall continue in force on a country by country basis until the later of: : 8.1.1 the date on which all the IP Patents have expired or been revoked without a right of further appeal; or , and 8.1.2 the tenth (10th) anniversary of the first commercial sale of a Licensed Product in the Territory, Commencement Date; and on such date this Agreement, Agreement and the licences granted hereunder, hereunder shall terminate automatically by expiry.
