Commencement of Legal Action. Any suit or action to recover benefits under this Agreement, or damages concerning the provision of coverage or benefits, the processing of claims, or any other matter arising out of this Agreement, shall be commenced no later than two (2) years after the date of coverage for benefits in question were first denied, unless a shorter period of limi- tations otherwise applies. State law requires that health plans disclose to Subscribers and health plan providers the process used to authorize or deny health care services un- der the plan. Blue Shield of California has com- pleted documentation of this process (“Utilization Review”), as required under Sec- tion 1363.5 of the California Health and Safety Code.
