Commencement of this Agreement. 28. The Parties acknowledge and agree that the amendments to Part III clause 3(f), (g) and 4(a) of this amended Agreement cannot be given full effect unless and until the day on which an amendment of the ‘Agreement between the Government of Australia and the Government of New Zealand concerning a joint food standards system’, that came into force on 1 July 2002, enters into force to reduce from two to one the number of occasions on which the Council may request FSANZ to review a draft standard or variation. 29. Until the agreement between Australia and New Zealand referred to in clause 28 comes into force, the Parties shall retain clause 3(f), (g) and 4(a) in the following terms:
