In the event that automobiles are used in connection with Contractor’s business or operations with the Department, the Contractor shall maintain a commercial or other automobile policy or policies insuring against liability for bodily injury, death, or damage to property and other mandatory coverages, relating to the use, operation, loading or unloading of any of Contractor’s automobiles (including owned, hired and non-owned vehicles) on and around the project. This should be ISO form CA 00 01 10 01, CA 00 01 01 87 or a policy form providing equivalent coverage along with mandatory New York endorsements. Coverage shall be in an amount of not less than $1,000,000.00 each accident.
