Commitment to Equitable Access Clause Samples
The Commitment to Equitable Access clause establishes an obligation for parties to ensure that opportunities, resources, or services are made available fairly to all relevant individuals or groups. In practice, this may require implementing policies that prevent discrimination, providing reasonable accommodations, or actively removing barriers that could disadvantage certain populations. The core function of this clause is to promote fairness and inclusivity, addressing potential inequalities and ensuring that no party is unjustly excluded from participation or benefit.
Commitment to Equitable Access. The Awardee and CEPI each confirm that they are committed to achieving “Equitable Access” to the results of all CEPI-supported programmes whether in an outbreak or pandemic situation in accordance with the “Equitable Access Policy” referenced in CEPI’s Third Party Code and in Clause 11.2. Equitable Access means that a Project Vaccine will be made available first to populations at risk when and where they are needed at affordable prices.
Commitment to Equitable Access. Each Partner and CEPI confirm their commitment to achieving Equitable Access to the results of all CEPI-supported programmes, whether in an Outbreak, Increased Outbreak Preparation Need, epidemic or pandemic situation, as provided herein with respect to any Project Vaccine in accordance with CEPI’s “Equitable Access Policy”.
Commitment to Equitable Access. CEPI is committed to achieving equitable access to the results of all CEPI-supported programmes pursuant to the “Equitable Access Policy” referenced in CEPI’s Third Party Code. Equitable Access means that a Project Vaccine is available first to populations at risk when and where they are needed at affordable prices. For clarity, it is CEPI’s intention that the price of a Project Vaccine shall be commercially sustainable to the manufacturer.
