Common Code and ISIN Number Sample Clauses

The 'Common Code and ISIN Number' clause identifies the specific securities involved in a transaction by referencing their unique identification numbers. In practice, this clause requires that the financial instruments, such as bonds or notes, be designated by their Common Code (used in Euroclear and Clearstream systems) and International Securities Identification Number (ISIN), which are standardized identifiers for securities. By mandating the use of these codes, the clause ensures precise identification and tracking of the relevant securities, thereby reducing the risk of confusion or error in settlement and administration.
