Common Planning Time. The parties to this Agreement recognize the importance of common planning time.

Common Planning Time. The following parameters shall be followed:
Common Planning Time. A. Teachers who do not have a schedule that permits common planning time may meet a maximum of four (4) sessions a year for the purpose of common planning. These meetings are to be held sometime other than regular school hours. Each meeting must be at least one (1) hour in length. There must be an agenda for each meeting which has received the prior approval of a building principal. A written record of the meeting must be kept and submitted to a building principal for approval. The common planning hour will be valid only if at least 75% of the group is in attendance.
Common Planning Time. The Committee and the Association recognize and acknowledge that, due to the unique nature of the middle school (6-8) program, there is a need for each Team to have adequate time to plan the needs of the Team and the students assigned thereto. Accordingly, the bargaining unit members assigned to each Team will meet twice a week to do common planning for the Team, each meeting not to exceed forty-five (45) minutes. Such meetings will be scheduled during the school day.
Common Planning Time. Whenever possible, teachers teaching in inclusion class- rooms at a school site shall be scheduled so that they have joint planning time at least two periods per week to plan activities in the inclusion setting.
Common Planning Time. (a) Established teacher teams have the right to choose their own common planning time (“CPT”). Each teacher team will meet for a minimum of 30 minutes per week for CPT and will be required to be an active member, i.e., attend the meetings, of her/his common planning team. Teachers will not be required but may choose to give up all or part of their standard planning period to meet for CPT.
Common Planning Time. Elementary teachers shall receive forty (40) minutes of common planning time at least three (3) times per week; Middle School teachers shall receive thirty (30) minutes of common planning time at least four (4) days per week. Said time shall be within the regular workday, shall not decrease an individual’s preparation time and shall not decrease the student-teacher contact time.

Common Planning Time. Unit members shall utilize a portion of staff and professional development meetings at least once per month for not less than twenty minutes to discuss student academic performance, behavior, and curriculum needs to improve effectiveness of the school in meeting students’ needs for success. Each school year unit members shall utilize a substantial portion of the all-Programs staff meetings to discuss student academic performance, behavior and curriculum needs to improve effectiveness of the school in meeting student needs for success. Teachers are encouraged to report back on the contents and any products from Common Planning Time. For the period of the signing of the contract through April 30, 2015, the guarantees of Common Planning time outlined above for staff, professional and All-Programs staff meetings may be reduced to satisfy the needs of WASC preparations. During the period of restricted Common Planning Time, the School shall do its best to provide Common Planning Time during staff meetings, as time allows during WASC preparations.
Common Planning Time. Teachers on Middle School teams will have six common planning periods per six-day schedule cycle, two of which will be used for purposes determined by the Administration, and one of which will be used for guidance-related purposes.
Common Planning Time. There may be a total of forty minutes per week of time assigned beyond the work day for common planning which may be divided into time periods not more than two (2) days per week.
