Communication and Safety Considerations. Where the Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator declines a request for confidentiality or a request not to proceed with an investigation, the Complainant will be informed in advance of the Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator disclosing the Complainant's identity and details of the Complaint or report to the Respondent, or initiating an investigation. The Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator will work with campus partners to take steps to arrange reasonable safety measures for the Complainant, if appropriate. The Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator will honor a Complainant's request that the Respondent be informed that the Complainant had asked the campus not to investigate or seek discipline.
