Common use of Communications with Government Authorities Clause in Contracts

Communications with Government Authorities. Contractor shall not, under any circumstances, apply for, enter into, or otherwise pursue negotiations with any governmental authority or agency to seek any approval, authorization, permission or acceptance for any variance, modification or revision to any and all Environmental Requirements or any and all federal, state or local safety or health laws, rules or regulations, including without limitation, federal and state industrial hygiene rules and regulations relating to the performance of the Work under the Contract without Owner's prior written approval thereof.
