Common use of Communications Xxxxxx Licence / Registration Allowance Clause in Contracts

Communications Xxxxxx Licence / Registration Allowance. An employee who is required by the Company to hold and utilise a current communications cabling registration (or the equivalent ACA Licence type) in the course of their employment will be paid an all purpose allowance of: (1) In the case of Open Registration, $17.50 per week. (2) In the case of Restricted Registration, $15.00 per week. (3) In the case of Transitional Registration, $10.50 per week. Transitional Registration and the allowance ceases on 3 October 2003. Licence and Rate Change after 3/10/2003: a) In the case of Open Registration, $20.00 per week. b) In the case of Restricted Licence, $15.00 per week. Provided that this Clause will not act to disadvantage any employee who is already receiving a higher rate.
