Community forums. There are 3 Community Forums (North, Central and South) led and organised by the community themselves where people with lived experience, community representatives and front-line workers from within the area can share insights, explore issues of concern and identify unmet needs. Forums enable communities to have a voice and the confidence to do things for themselves: • To prevent and reduce xxxxx from alcohol and other drugs. • To work together to overcome stigma and apathy in realising aspirations. • To promote recovery and help develop recovery-supportive communities. Forums provide a platform that ensures that the collective voice of lived experience of individuals, families and communities is effectively heard, that they are empowered to influence policy and practice and that the Partnership continues to place the interests of affected individuals at the centre of its thinking. They are independent but closely partnered with the ADP. They receive funding from the ADP, and they are accountable to the Resources and Governance Committee for any monies they receive from the Partnership. Each forum has a seat on the ADP Strategic Committee and Lived and Living Experience Committee. Forum representatives are encouraged to inform, influence and hold to account the ADP. Organisation and conduct of the forums are described in their Terms of Reference.

Community forums. Where there is an agreement between the employee and their manager for the employee to undertake Community Forums and or presentations, the time taken by the employee attending the community forum or giving the presentation which is in excess of their ordinary weekly hours, can be taken off as time off in lieu on a time for time basis.
Community forums. Contractor shall:
a. Collaborate with the OCCP and community partners to plan and convene no less than five (5) Community Forums within County of Orange Supervisorial Districts, as determined by SSA, to promote and distribute the Annual Report.
b. Secure sites for the Community Forums with room size capacity to accommodate approximately one hundred fifty (150) people. In order to meet the needs of the individual communities where the Community Forums will be held, SSA reserves the right to require a larger venue if deemed necessary. Contractor shall provide refreshments and handle the logistics for said events, including, but not limited to, audio/visual needs, processing RSVPs, preparing name tags, and checking in attendees at the event.
c. Connect with community agencies within each supervisorial district in the planning and outreach for the Community Forums.
d. Recruit at least one (1) keynote speaker with professional expertise in the selected discussion topics for each Forum.
e. Obtain prior, written approval of keynote speaker(s) and discussion topics from SSA prior to each Forum.
f. Market and advertise the Community Forums.
g. Develop the agenda for the Community Forums.
