California Minimum Wage i. Subrecipient must follow the California enacted legislation signed by the Governor of California, raising the minimum wage for all industries (MW-2007). (AB 1835, CH230, Stats of 2006, adding sections 1182.12 and 1182.13 to the California Labor Code.) Pursuant to its authority under Labor Code section 1182.13, the Department of Industrial Relations amends and republishes Sections, 1, 2, 3, and 5 of the General Minimum Wage Order. MW- 2001, Section 4, Separability, has not been changed. Consistent with this enactment, amendments are made to the minimum wage, and the meals and lodging credits sections of all of the IWC’s industry and occupation orders. This summary must be made available to employees in accordance with the IWC’s wage orders. Copies of the full text of the amended wage orders may be obtained by ordering on-line at xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/XX.xxx or by contacting your local Division of Labor Standards Enforcement office.
Citizen Volunteer or Community Service Leave Leave without pay may be granted for community volunteerism or service.
Community Service Service to the wider community includes active participation in a wide variety of governmental, societal and community institutions, programs and services, where such participation is based on the candidate’s academic or professional expertise.
Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.
State of California Public Liability and Workers’ Compensation Program A. The Judicial Council has elected to be self-insured for its motor vehicle, aircraft liability and general liability exposures.
CIVIL SERVICE RULES Nothing in Section 1 and 2 of this Article shall limit the Director of Human Resources or the appointing authority’s discretion to implement layoffs pursuant to Civil Service Rules.
General Rules Licenses for the Licensed Programs to which this OST applies may be granted according to one of the following licensing schemes (specifying the authorized use), as specified in the Product Portfolio if available, and as determined in the applicable Transaction Document: ⮚ Concurrent (or Floating) Based ⮚ Machine (or node-lock) Based ⮚ Named User Based ⮚ System License Licenses for the Licensed Programs to which this OST applies are granted for use on Machines by the Users (and Extended Enterprise Users, as applicable) only in the country for which the DS Offerings are ordered. However, (i) Users, whose usual workplace is located in the same country as the country where such use of the Licensed Programs has been authorized, may use the Licensed Programs in any other country (subject inter alia to the export and re-export laws and regulations provisions of the Agreement) for purposes of a business trip of a maximum of thirty (30) consecutive days and (ii) DS may authorize, on a case-by-case basis, the use of certain Licensed Programs by the Users (and Extended Enterprise Users, as applicable) on a Remote Access mode. It is agreed that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary provided in the Documentation, software components packaged and delivered by DS as part of a given DS Offering: ⮚ shall solely be used together and as part of such DS Offering and ⮚ shall not be used standalone and/or for other purposes than the ones for which such DS Offering has been marketed and granted to Customer by DS. If a patent invention is implemented in the DS Offering for which a right to use or access is granted pursuant to the Agreement, DS hereby grants Customer a non-exclusive license on the applicable patent limited to the use of such DS Offering.
General Federal Requirements 1. Grantee shall use such fiscal control and fund accounting procedures necessary to ensure the proper disbursement of, and accounting for, federal funds paid to the applicant under each such program.
California Labor Code Compliance a. Prevailing Wage laws apply, Subrecipient hereby agrees to pay, or cause its subcontractors to pay, Prevailing Wage rates at all times for all construction, improvements, or modifications to be completed for County under this Contract. Subrecipient herein agrees that Subrecipient shall post, or cause to be posted, a copy of the most current, applicable Prevailing Wage rates at the site where the construction, improvements, or modifications are performed.
Living Wage Ordinance CONTRACTOR shall comply with the Living Wage Ordinance, LAAC Section 10.37 et seq., as amended from time to time. CONTRACTOR further agrees that it shall comply with federal law proscribing retaliation for union organizing. Any subcontract entered into by CONTRACTOR for work to be performed under this Contract must include an identical provision.
