Comparable Agencies Clause Samples
The Comparable Agencies clause defines a standard by which certain actions, performance, or benchmarks are measured by referencing similar organizations or entities within a relevant industry or sector. In practice, this clause is used to ensure that obligations, such as service levels or pricing, are assessed in comparison to what is typical or reasonable among peer agencies, often considering factors like size, scope, and geographic location. Its core function is to provide an objective basis for evaluation, reducing ambiguity and disputes by anchoring expectations to industry norms.
