Common use of Compensation for Cause Termination Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Cause Termination. If City shall terminate for cause or default on the part of Consulting Engineer/Architect, City shall compensate Consulting Engineer/Architect for the reasonable cost of Engineering/Architectural Services satisfactorily completed to date of its receipt of the termination notice. Compensation shall not include anticipatory profit or consequential damages, neither of which will be allowed.
