Compensation for Maintenance Sample Clauses
The Compensation for Maintenance clause establishes the obligation for one party to pay for the upkeep or repair of certain property, equipment, or assets. Typically, this clause specifies which party is responsible for covering maintenance costs, the types of maintenance covered (such as routine servicing or emergency repairs), and the process for reimbursement or direct payment. Its core practical function is to clearly allocate financial responsibility for maintenance, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring that the property remains in good working condition throughout the agreement.

Said compensation shall include all labor, materials, equipment, overhead and profits to perform the routine service and no extra compensation will be allowed. All items not covered shall require a negotiated price and approval by the Director of Public Works or authorized representative.
