Common use of Compensatory Royalties Clause in Contracts

Compensatory Royalties. If compensatory royalties may be paid in lieu of Drilling the well and if authorization for payment thereof receives, within the period provided above, the Approval of the Parties that would be chargeable with the Costs incurred in Drilling the well if the well were Drilled as provided in Section 10.4, then Unit Operator shall pay the compensatory royalties for the account of said Parties; or
