Common use of Compensatory Royalties Clause in Contracts

Compensatory Royalties. If compensatory royalties may be paid in lieu of drilling the well and if payment thereof receives, within said period, the Approval of the Parties who would be chargeable with the Unit Expenditures incurred in drilling the well, if the well were drilled as provided in Article 13.4, Unit Operator shall pay such compensatory royalties for the account of said Parties; or
