Compensatory Time Request Sample Clauses

Compensatory Time Request. Employees shall request compensatory time in advance of actually working the overtime hours, except in emergency situations. Where it is impossible to request comp time in advance, a request shall be made on the next working day in which the employee reports to work. Comp time must be authorized by the appropriate supervisor or the Director. Comp time can be accumulated up to 120 hours and must be utilized within 180 days of the time it is earned or it shall be paid out to the employee. Comp time shall be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time.
