Competition in Subcontracting. (cl. F-708- Dec 1996) The Contractor shall select Subcontractors (including suppliers) on a competitive basis to the maximum practical extent consistent with the objectives and requirements of the contract.
Competition in Subcontracting. In accordance with FAR 52.244-5, “Competition in Subcontracting”, the Contractor shall, to the maximum practical extent, competitively select all subcontractors under any Delivery Order executed under this BOA. The Contractor shall include with its proposal the Abstract of Offers, identifying the project, and stating company name, address and amount of bid for all subcontract's bids. When competition is not practical, price reasonableness may be determined by comparing proposed prices with those obtained for the same or similar work, prices published in independent cost guides, published in competitive price lists or developed by independent sources.
