Compliance With All Applicable Orders. The contractor agrees to implement strategies to encourage behaviors that reduce the spread of COVID-19 during the event. Failure to abide by these orders will result in the cancellation of the event without penalty. This expressly includes following all mandates from local government and public health officials. Deposits: Should the event be canceled for concerns associated with COVID-19, the deposit is fully refundable. These concerns include but are not limited to a decision by the collegiate institution to close the campus, prohibition of social gatherings, limitation on gathering size that is significantly below the number of anticipated attendees, a positive test of contractor employee, or any circumstance that results in it being impossible, unsafe or impracticable for the group to move forward with the event and fulfill all terms of the contract.
