COMPLIANCE WITH ALL STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall comply with all statutory requirements prescribed by the local as well as state / central government authorities from time to time and submit required proof of compliance to the Employer as and when required by the Employer. The contractor shall produce all the relevant statutory documents for inspection by the Employer and the government authorities. The contractor shall give all notices required under the said Act, Rules, Regulations and Bye-laws etc. and pay all fees payable to such authority/authorities for carrying out the work towards the cost, if any, shall be deemed to have been included in his quoted rates, taking into account all liabilities for licenses, fees etc. and shall indemnify and protect the Employer and its Employees against such liabilities and / or claim arising out of violation of any such laws, ordinances, orders, decrees and shall defend all actions arising from such claims or liabilities. If the contractor performs any act which is against the law, rules and regulations, he shall meet all the costs and consequences arising there from and shall indemnify the Employer against any legal actions arising there from.
