Common use of Compliance with Federal Laws Clause in Contracts

Compliance with Federal Laws. In performance of work under this Agreement, all parties must fully comply with all applicable federal laws, rules and regulations, including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) prohibits discrimination in all its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, and marital or family status. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs.) Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication of program information (Braille, large print, audiotape, etc.) should contact USDA’s TARGET center at (000) 000-0000 (voice and TDD).
