Compliance with Labor Requirements. The Installation Work is a “public works” project as defined in Section 1720 of the California Labor Code (“Labor Code”) and made applicable pursuant to Section 1720.6 of the Labor Code. Therefore, the Installation Work is subject to applicable provisions of Part 7, Chapter 1, of the Labor Code and Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations, Section 16000 et seq. (collectively, “Labor Law”). Provider acknowledges that, as provided by Senate Bill 854 (Stats. 2014, Ch. 28), the Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR”).
