Common use of Compliance with Law and Ordinances Clause in Contracts

Compliance with Law and Ordinances. The Contractor shall observe all Federal, State and/or City laws, rules, ordinances or regulations in relation to obstruction of the streets, keeping open passageways and protecting the same. Where such passageways are exposed and potentially dangerous to the public, such passageways shall, as may be required, be planked or bridged by the Contractor and the cost thereof, except as otherwise provided, of such repair shall be deemed to be included in the appropriate scheduled Contract items.
