Common use of Compliance With Laws and Directives Clause in Contracts

Compliance With Laws and Directives. a. The Concessionaire shall, in all matters arising in the performance of this Concession Agreement, comply with, give all notices under, and pay all taxes, levies and other similar charges required by the provisions of any Central or State law or directive or any regulation of any legally constituted public authority having jurisdiction over the Works. The Concessionaire shall obtain all permits, licences or approvals required for any part of the Works in reasonable time, taking into account the delivery time for the Plant and Machinery and Materials and required for completion of the Works. The Authority and the Concessionaire shall comply with all the laws as applicable.
