Compliance with Laws Relevant To a Hog Production Operation. PRODUCER is solely responsible for the operation and management of its hog production operation, including but not limited to proper animal care and handling. PRODUCER is solely responsible for compliance of its hog production operation with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including criminal laws relating to mistreatment of animals. Examples include laws and regulations relating to permits to operate facilities, handling and disposal of manure, and disposal of dead hogs.
