Common use of Compliance with Laws/Standards Clause in Contracts

Compliance with Laws/Standards. Each Party agrees that all work performed by either Party that may reasonably be expected to affect the other Party shall be performed in accordance with Good Utility Practice and all applicable laws, regulations, safety standards, practices and procedures and other requirements pertaining to the safety of persons or property (including, but not limited to those of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the National Electrical Safety Code and those developed or accepted by Transmission Owner and Local Distribution Company for use on their respective systems) and Good Utility Practice when entering or working in the other Party’s property or facilities or switching area. A Party performing work within the boundaries of the other Party’s facilities must abide by the safety rules applicable to the site.
