Common use of Compliance with National Laws Clause in Contracts

Compliance with National Laws. ‌ 1. Except where otherwise provided in any other agreements in force between the Contracting Parties, road vehicles, transport operators, passengers, drivers, and other persons onboard the road vehicles shall, when in the territory of the other Contracting Party, comply with the national laws and regulations in force in that Contracting Party. 2. Where any road vehicle, transport operator, passenger, driver or any other person onboard the road vehicle has infringed the national laws and regulations of any Contracting Party, temporary or permanent access to the territory of that Contracting Party may be denied.
