Common use of Compliance with notices Clause in Contracts

Compliance with notices. Upon written notice being given by the Lessor to the Lessee of any breach of covenant:- 7.12.1 to make good and remedy within thirty (30) days of such notice, or sooner if required in the notice, the breach to the reasonable satisfaction of the Lessor; 7.12.2 if the Lessee fails within thirty (30) days of such notice, or as soon as reasonably possible in the case of emergency, to commence and then diligently and expeditiously to continue and comply with such notice, to permit the Lessor to enter the Leasehold Area and carry out all or any of the works or other steps necessary for compliance with the notice and in default of payment of the cost of such works, same shall be recoverable by the Lessor as a contract debt from the Lessee.
