Compliance with REACH Clause Samples

The 'Compliance with REACH' clause requires parties to ensure that any products, substances, or materials supplied under the agreement adhere to the European Union's REACH regulation, which governs the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemicals. In practice, this means suppliers must confirm that all relevant chemicals are properly registered and that safety information is communicated down the supply chain. This clause helps prevent legal and regulatory issues by ensuring that all parties meet their obligations under REACH, thereby reducing the risk of non-compliance penalties and promoting safe use of chemicals.
Compliance with REACH. Each Member remains fully responsible for its own compliance with REACH, including assessing the relevance and suitability of the Dossier(s) for its own use(s). No warranty for acceptance of the Dossier(s) by ECHA or granting of an Authorisation by the Commission is given. All Members are individually obliged to comply with all relevant requirements of REACH.
