Common use of Compliance with Sanctions Clause in Contracts

Compliance with Sanctions. The Borrower shall not directly or indirectly use the proceeds of the Advances, or lend, contribute or otherwise make available such proceeds to any Subsidiary, joint venture, partner or other Person or entity, to fund or facilitate (i) any activities of or business with any Sanction Target, (ii) any activities of or business in any Sanctioned Country or (iii) in any other manner that would result in a violation by any Person of Sanctions.

Compliance with Sanctions. The Borrower shall not directly or indirectly use the proceeds of the Advances, or lend, contribute or otherwise make available such proceeds to any Subsidiary, joint venture, partner or other Person or entity, to fund or facilitate (i) any activities of or business with any Sanction Sanctions Target, (ii) any activities of or business in any Sanctioned Country or (iii) in any other manner that would result in a violation by any Person of Sanctions.

The To the best of the Borrower’s knowledge and belief, the Borrower shall not directly or indirectly use the proceeds of the Advances, or lend, contribute or otherwise make available such proceeds to any Subsidiary, joint venture, partner or other Person or entity, to fund or facilitate (i) any activities of or business with any Sanction TargetPerson who is the subject or target of Sanctions, (ii) any activities of or business in any Sanctioned Country or (iii) in any other manner that would result in a violation by any Person of Sanctions.
