6. The contractor shall develop testing routes based on information on the Excel spreadsheet provided by the City which includes the last date tested.

Weeding to be completed manually or mechanically where possible, but application of herbicide is acceptable when completed by a Qualified Applicator License holder through Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA). Any application of herbicide to be pre- approved by COB staff at least seven business days in advance of desired application date. Special focus should be given to sites that contain a mix of native and non-native plant species so as not to apply herbicide to desired species. Proper identification of weeds and intent to spray is required at least seven business days in advance of desired application date. Reimbursement of common carrier transportation expenses are limited to the cost of less than premium (first) class accommodations. Use of personal or equipmentcompany vehicle will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate for business in effect at the time. Vehicle usage within a 50 mile radius of Bend City Hall will not be reimbursed. Reimbursable expenses include the pre-approved purchase of any supplies required to complete services. Such approved expenses shall be reimbursed at cost. Other allowable expenses shall be reimbursed at cost. (1) Make payment promptly, as due, to all persons supplying to the contractor labor or material for the performance of the work provided for in the contract.

(1) Every public contract shall contain a condition that the contractor shall promptly, as due, make payment to any person, co-partnership, association or corporation furnishing medical, surgical and hospital care services or other needed care and attention, incident to sickness or injury, to the employees of the contractor, of all sums that the contractor agrees to pay for the services and all moneys and sums that the contractor collected or deducted from the wages of employees under any law, contract or agreement for the purpose of providing or paying for the services.
