Common use of Compliance with the 1940 Act Clause in Contracts

Compliance with the 1940 Act. Any contract referred to in Sections 1 and 2 of this Article shall be consistent with and subject to the applicable requirements of Section 15 of the 1940 Act and the rules and orders thereunder with respect to its continuance in effect, its termination, and the method of authorization and approval of such contract or renewal. No amendment to a contract referred to in Section 1 of this Article shall be effective unless assented to in a manner consistent with the requirements of Section 15 of the 1940 Act, and the rules and orders thereunder.
