Common use of Comprehensive Commercial General Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Comprehensive Commercial General Liability Insurance. (Occurrence Form CG 00 01): The CONSULTANT shall procure and maintain and require all sub-contractors to procure and maintain during the life of this Agreement, a comprehensive general liability policy, including but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, contractual liability, and Explosion, Collapse and Underground (XCU) coverage. The general aggregate limit shall apply separately to this project/location or the general aggregate limit shall be twice the required occurrence limit. Proof of such insurance shall be filed by the CONSULTANT with the DISTRICT within ten (10) days after the execution of this Agreement. The policy must include comprehensive general liability with a limit of $1,000,000 for general aggregate; $1,000,000 for each occurrence; $1,000,000 for products and completed ops; $100,000 for damage to rented premises; and $100,000 for fire damage. The policy shall be endorsed to include the following additional insured language: “Englewood Water District, Florida, and its commissioners, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers shall be named as an additional insured with respect to liability arising out of the activities performed by, or on behalf of the CONSULTANT.”
