Conditions of General/Extended Leave. A general/extended leave may be granted by the School District for overseas teaching/administration, Peace Corps, Vista, National Teacher Corps, extended illness of the Association member’s family, study germane to the Association member’s assignment, travel, holding a full-time office in a professional organization, for service as an elected or an appointed official, administrative exchange, or for other reasons deemed appropriate by the Board.
