Common use of Conditions Precedent to Application for Final Payment Clause in Contracts

Conditions Precedent to Application for Final Payment. ALL WORK REQUIRED BY THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE FINAL INSPECTION IS PERFORMED. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) Performing infiltration and pressure tests as described in the detailed Specifications; (2) Removing temporary plugs, bulkheads, bypasses, etc.; (3) Flushing all lines with potable water furnished by Contractor; (4) Pressure testing all lines as required in the Specifications; (5) Demonstrating the operation of all valves; (6) Providing specified instruction for the Owner’s personnel; (7) Disinfecting all water mains as required in the Specifications; and, (8) Grassing and restoration of the Work area.
