Confidential Investigation. ‌ In the course of responding to a grievance alleging harassment, all steps will be taken to ensure that the matter is properly investigated and that all persons involved in the handling of a complaint shall hold in the strictest confidence all information of which they become aware; however, it is recognized that various officials of the constituent group(s) and the Employer will be made aware of all or part of the proceedings on a 'need to know' basis and, as may be necessary, to divulge any information as a result of any formal legal action which may subsequently result.
