Conflicts of Interest; Disclosure of Conflicts. GRANTEE has not given, offered to give, nor intends to give at any time hereafter, any economic opportunity, future employment, gift, loan, gratuity, special discount, trip, favor, or service to a public servant or employee of the OAG, at any time during the negotiation of this contract or in connection with this contract, except as allowed under relevant state or federal law. GRANTEE will establish safeguards to prohibit its employees from using their positions for a purpose that constitutes or presents the appearance of personal or organizational conflict of interest or personal gain. GRANTEE will operate with complete independence and objectivity without actual, potential or apparent conflict of interest with respect to their performance under this contract. GRANTEE must disclose, in writing, within fifteen (15) calendar days of discovery, any existing or potential conflicts of interest relative to their performance under this contract. GRANTEE certifies: No federal/state appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a member of Congress or the Texas Legislature, or an employee of a member of Congress or the Texas Legislature in connection with the awarding, or the extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or modification of this contract; and if any non-federal/state funds have been paid or will be paid to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a member of Congress or the Texas Legislature, an officer or employee of Congress or the Texas Legislature, or an employee of a member of Congress or the Texas Legislature in connection with this contract, the undersigned shall contact the OAG for the “Disclosure Form to Report Lobbying.”
